Trainer

Melanie Morgan, MS, LPC, CFBT

Description

Making Meaning of the Work You Do” Lunch and Learn training will provide the opportunity to reflect on the work you do through the lenses of your own individual experience. To do the difficult work you do as clinicians, teachers, probation and parole officers, preschool teachers, and more, you put a lot of time, energy and soul into the work to achieve for the greatest outcomes. However, oftentimes, that is not enough, and you may find yourself burning out, feeling exhausted and invalidated by the work you’re doing. Why is that? Are you running forward and missing opportunities to reflect on what your individual strengths are and how you can utilize these strengths to bring back the joy in the work you do? Through this training, the trainer will explore how you can work within the zones where you feel the most amount of reward and the least amount of burnout, while also finding the frame for what brought you to the work you do. Lunch and Learns are brief and with increased interest, the opportunity may arise to a longer training opportunity.
