Participants will explore the signs and symptoms of common co-occurring disorders, the roles and risks of psychotropic medications, and the interactions between medications and substances. Through evidence-based strategies, case studies, and practical tools, this 6.5 CE course equips clinicians to develop individualized, holistic treatment plans. Kimberly Ernest lives in Hummelstown, PA, with her husband and two young boys. Kimberly holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Pennsylvania State University, a master's degree in experimental psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of North Texas. Kimberly is currently a licensed clinical psychologist and a licensed professional counselor. She presently serves as the Executive Vice President & Vice President of Criminal Justice and Recovery Programs for Pennsylvania Counseling Services.
