Training Description
There are many levels of care and types of services in the Behavioral Health/Mental Health field. Understanding options including Family Based Mental Health Services, who qualifies for this support and how to obtain the service, provides clinicians with an increased ability to guide their clients towards systemic care. This training offers an overview of the unique program and the Trauma informed Eco-Systemic Model of therapy (ESFT).
Trainer Bio
Deb Thomas is a Licensed Professional Counselor and serves as the Clinical Director of Children’s Services for Pennsylvania Counseling Services, Inc. She is a trainer at the Pennsylvania Clinical Training Institute and is a certified Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy Supervisor.
In addition to her decades direct clinical care in community mental health Deb provides supervision in Family Based Mental Health Services, LPC candidates, interns and outpatient clinicians. Deb has a degree in Contemplative Psychology from Naropa University, Boulder, Colorado and certification in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and ABFT training.
Deb has a passion for developing sustainability in clinicians throughout the Mental Health field as well as creating intentional and experiential practice to promote staff and client wellness.

Refunds: Participants may cancel their registration(s) at any time prior to the training date. A 10% cancellation fee will be deducted from the original registration fee, and the remainder will be refunded. No refund will be provided if the cancellation occurs within two weeks of the training date.
