Emily Hornung-Thimes, LSW
This Lunch & Learn is meant to provide a general overview of Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS), including what areas of support the service can provide, who qualifies for the service, and different types of service prescriptions. Exclusionary criteria will also be reviewed. IBHS has broad utility to help improve child symptoms for a number of different clinical presentations in various settings - this may include reducing problematic behaviors, increasing functional skills, or building communication. IBHS is intended to 'wrap around' the child and provide support in vivo in the settings that are most meaningful. Treatment is carried out using specific interventions detailed in an Individualized Treatment Plan.
