Helping professionals are trained to hold space for others, but rarely taught how to sustainably hold that weight. This advanced professional and peer coaching training equips advocates, Title IX professionals, social workers, and trauma-informed leaders with the tools to navigate secondary trauma, prevent burnout, and sustain emotional presence without sacrificing boundaries.
Participants will explore the neuroscience of vicarious trauma, recognize early indicators of compassion fatigue and emotional numbing, and develop structured strategies for trauma-informed supervision and peer consultation. Emphasis will be placed on balancing empathy with clinical boundaries, cultivating resilient leadership practices, and embedding protective factors into organizational culture.
This training moves beyond self-care clichés and into actionable frameworks that protect both the professional and the mission.
