Trainer

Deb Thomas, MA, LPC and Will McGee

Description

Managing the Grey: The Line Between Uncomfortable and Unsafe is a trauma‑informed, 2-part experiential workshop designed to strengthen participants’ awareness, decision‑making, and essential physical skills for navigating ambiguous or escalating situations. This training will emphasize striking and movement in a safe, controlled setting, allowing participants to apply techniques such as escapes and defenses under pressure.

Participants are welcome and encouraged to attend both sessions, as principals will build on one another and be applied to a wide range of situations. This is a hands-on, experiential event focused on assessing safety, de-escalation, self-defense, pre-emptive striking and will be active! Please wear suitable exercise-appropriate clothing and athletic footwear. Time in between sessions will be used for Q/A and light refreshments will be provided.

This training is in collaboration with The Rise Initiate, Will McGee Owner and Coach https://www.itsyourrise.com/
