Courtney Krivak-Kramer, MA CFBT
Training Description
Blended families bring unique strengths and challenges that often require clinicians to think beyond traditional family models. In this one-hour Lunch & Learn, participants will explore the developmental tasks, common relational dynamics, and systemic challenges that emerge as families integrate households, parenting roles, and family identities. Through a systemic and attachment-informed lens, attendees will examine topics such as loyalty binds, boundary setting, co-parenting, stepparent roles, sibling relationships, and building trust over time. This session will provide practical strategies for helping blended families navigate conflict, strengthen relationships, and create a shared family identity while honoring the histories that each member brings into the system.
