Parenting in Reentry and Recovery

Trainer

Susan Wright, MPA

Description

Hybrid Training

Parenting is one of the world’s most difficult jobs; parenting while in the reentry or recovery process brings additional challenges. This training will provide participants with a basic understanding of the unique needs of parents as they embark and continue on their road to recovery as well as provide participants with an understanding of the unique needs of parents who are involved in the reentry process. For many parents, this journey is one and the same. Participants will also learn the factors that contribute to longer-term, positive outcomes for parents in recovery.
