This course is designed to offer an overview of ACT and to provide clinicians with skills and techniques to use with their clients congruent with the ACT model. The training will introduce providers to the theory and core components of ACT. Clinicians will have the opportunity to practice tangible skills and discuss how they could be used with their clients.

Abby Naeve currently lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and works as an outpatient therapist and team lead for her office. Abby has an undergraduate degree in social work from the University of Iowa and a graduate degree in social work from Washington University in St. Louis. In a addition to outpatient therapy, Abby has worked in a variety of positions such as residential counseling for adjudicated youth, facilitating employment opportunities for people with disabilities, peer support in a community outreach center, and providing case management for underserved populations.
